Michigan GOP Polls 2016: Donald Trump Remains on Top

After Ted Cruz won the most delegates during the March 5 elections, Donald Trump will look to answer back with big victories during the March 8 caucus and primaries. Michigan is seen as the most important state on March 8 given it has the most delegates at stake of the four states holding nominating events.

Early polling numbers show Trump with a sizable lead in most polls. According to RealClear Politics, Trump has an average lead of 15.4 percentage points in the early polls. Michigan is seen as the biggest prize for GOP candidates before the Ohio and Florida March 15 primaries.
