Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin took the stage at the Republican National Convention during the event’s final night. The theme on the night was “Make America One Again,” another play on the Donald Trump slogan “Make America Great Again.” Fallin was given a six-minute slot.
Fallin told NewsOK.com that her speech is about “things that are valuable in life, the principles that made America great and what we need to do to make America great again.”
Fallin was mentioned as a possible running mate for Trump, but the billionaire instead picked Indiana Governor Mike Pence.
The 61-year-old Fallin is the first woman elected governor of Oklahoma and served in the House of Representatives from 2007 to 2011. She also spoke at the 2008 RNC and 2012 RNC.
