Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump will hold a rally in Wilmington, Ohio this afternoon, his first event since delivering a major speech on immigration.
Trump’s rally will take place at the Roberts Centre in Wilmington beginning at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time. It can be viewed in the embedded YouTube player via Right Side Broadcasting.
On Wednesday evening, Donald Trump gave a major policy address during which he discussed his plans for dealing with illegal immigration. After several weeks of speculation that Trump was softening on the issue, the Republican nominee instead doubled down on his plan to build a border wall, make Mexico pay for it, and deport all criminal illegal aliens within one hour of taking office.
Trump did not specify how he would deal with all of the 11 million undocumented immigrants currently living in the country, but he did say that anyone who is here illegally is subject to deportation, whether or not they have committed any crime since coming to the United States.
Now, Trump returns to the crucial state of Ohio, where Hillary Clinton is currently ahead in polls by an average of 3.8 points, according to Real Clear Politics. A recent Emerson poll, however, had Trump and Clinton tied, 43 percent to 43 percent.
