Trump Tower in New York City was evacuated after a suspicious package was found in the building’s lobby, according to multiple reports. No one was injured and the all clear has been given.

President-Elect Donald Trump is currently in Florida at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, according to the press pool covering the transition.

NYPD spokesman J. Peter Donald said on Twitter, “Out of an abundance of caution, NYPD Bomb Squad is responding to a suspicious package in the lobby of Trump Tower.” He then said in a follow-up tweet three minutes later, “All clear at Trump Tower following the earlier suspicious package in the lobby.”

The building was evacuated about 4:30 p.m., and the all clear was given about 5:05 p.m.

Other witnesses also tweeted from the scene:

In follow-up tweets, Abrams told reporters “they just told us to get out of the building … nobody knows (why), police just started screaming ‘everyone out'”

NBC News’ Tom Winter tweeted that the suspicious package was found in a public area:

MSNBC’s Cal Perry was outside Trump Tower as police attempted to move people away:

The NYPD and FDNY responded to the scene. Security in and surrounding the Trump-owned building on Fifth Avenue between 56th and 57th streets in Manhattan has increased since Trump was elected.
