First Lady Melania Trump accompanied her husband to his Melbourne, Florida rally, again making a fashion statement in a red dress.
The color red has become one of Melania’s go-to hues for the First Couple’s jaunts to their Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, which Trump and others have started calling the winter White House or southern White House (although critics have questioned the cost of the weekend trips).
What Melania said drew as much attention this time around as what she wore, however. Melania spoke at the rally, delivering the Lord’s prayer. According to AOL, she also told the crowd she would “always stay true to myself, and be truthful to you.” The crowd greeted the First Lady’s comment with loud applause, according to AOL.
US Magazine quoted Melania as also saying, “It is my honor and great pleasure to stand here before you as the First Lady of the United States.” The entertainment magazine noted that she debuted a somewhat blonder, shorter hairstyle at the Orlando-Melbourne International Airport rally.
