WATCH: Donald Trump Coast Guard Academy Commencement Full Speech

President Donald Trump today delivered a commencement speech at the Coast Guard Academy in New London, Connecticut, where he briefly touched on the recent scandals that have plagued his administration.

This was President Trump’s second time delivering a commencement speech in the past week, as he also spoke at the graduation ceremony of Liberty University on Saturday. During that speech, Trump talked about the role that religion plays in his administration, and he also said that those who criticize him and his administration are pathetic.

On Wednesday, Trump made similar statements, saying that the way he has been treated in the media has been unfair.

“Over the course of your life, you will find that things are not always fair,” Trump said. “You will find that things happen to you that you do not deserve and that are not always warranted. But you have to put your head down and fight, fight, fight. Look at the way I’ve been treated lately, especially by the media.”

Trump went on to say that no other president in history has ever been treated as unfairly as him.

The president indicated in his advice to the graduates that he plans on fighting back against accusations of corruption and comparisons to Richard Nixon.

“Don’t give in,” he said. “Don’t back down. And never stop doing what you know is right. Nothing worth doing ever, ever, ever came easy, and the more righteous your fight, the more opposition that you will face.”

In addition, President Trump touted his own accomplishments in the speech, saying that he has brought jobs back to the country, saved the second amendment, and unrolled a great new tax plan.
