It’s the day after the Inauguration, but President Donald Trump shows no signs of taking the day off despite a heavy schedule on Inauguration Day of balls, luncheons, and the oath of office.

What does Trump have on tap for Saturday, January 21? A lot as it turns out. He even found time to tweet (not that that’s a surprise). But the day was dominated by his press secretary’s angry press conference and Trump’s own attacks on the news media.

However, Trump is already causing Twitter controversy. According to Gizmodo, the Tweet originally misspelled honored “honered” and was deleted and reposted, which could be a violation of rules saying a president must preserve all correspondence.

Here’s what you need to know:

Trump Has Already Signed an Executive Order Making Major Changes to Obamacare

Donald Trump wasted no time in beginning to gut his predecessor’s signature legacy: Obamacare. Trump can’t get rid of Obamacare completely through executive order, but he can alter it.

Time Magazine reported that his executive order gives “agencies affected by the ACA the authority to waive or delay implementation of any part of the law that would ‘impose a fiscal burden on any State or a cost, fee, tax, penalty, or regulatory burden” on individuals, insurers, drug companies, etc.'”

According to Time, the executive order also “promotes the creation of a system to allow the sale of insurance across state lines.” The fiscal mandate has been one of Obamacare’s most controversial provisions.

In between inaugural balls and other festivities, Trump signed the executive order that weakens the Obamacare mandate he says is placing too much of a fiscal burden on people. That action came on Inauguration Day itself, but it’s Trump’s first big policy move as president.

The New President Visited the CIA & Trashed the Media

Trump has been harshly critical of, and suspicious of, the nation’s intelligence services, after reports of possible Russian interference in the presidential election. He’d even suggested that he was likely to restrict briefings from them.

However, one of the new president’s first stops the day after the Inauguration was at the Central Intelligence Agency.

According to Bloomberg, Trump was planning to meet with CIA agents. He was accompanied by his National Security Adviser, Michael Flynn, and his nominee as CIA chief, Mike Pompeo.
The Associated Press reported that Trump was to speak with a crowd of about 300 people at Langley.

ABC News reported that Trump wanted to tell CIA agents that he “values” their work.

However, the speech turned into a barrage against the media. He called the media “dishonest,” said they were wrong in their estimates of the crowds at his Inauguration, and made a comment some have construed as opening the possibility of going back to Iraq. Listen here:

Trump’s press secretary Sean Spicer held his first press conference and it was an angry one, as he accused the media of downgrading the size of the crowds at the Inauguration. He claimed that Trump’s Inauguration had the biggest crowds ever, despite aerial photos that appear to show otherwise.

The Spicer press conference was hotly criticized by many, and it sparked the hashtag #spicerfacts.

The Trumps Attended a Morning Prayer Service at the National Cathedral

The National Prayer Service Saturday brought the conclusion of the inauguration festivities. If the Trumps were fatigued from their showy appearances at a series of late-night inaugural balls, they didn’t show it. The president and First Lady, and some of their children and grandchildren, joined Vice President Mike Pence and his wife, Karen, for a prayer service at the National Cathedral.

This prayer service is a tradition for new presidents, and it’s an interfaith service. However, some criticized the news networks for covering the prayer service instead of the Women’s March on Washington. According to CNN, the prayer service tradition dates to George Washington, and 26 faith leaders participated.

The White House has been emptied of the previous administration, and the moving in process is under way for Trump’s people. The transition literally involves moving vans. By Inauguration Day, everything from Trump’s toothbrush to his personal photos were in place, reported USA Today.

The Obamas, who said goodbye to staff on Inauguration morning, were headed to Palm Springs, California, for a vacation, reported ABC News.

Melana Trump wowed the public by wearing a sleek white ball gown with red ribbon. However, by Saturday, the talk was turning from what Melania wore to what Donald is about to do.
