Is Casey Anthony pregnant with her second child?
The 31-year-old, who many people believe killed her two-year-old daughter back in 2008, is allegedly pregnant and hoping to have another girl, according to Hollywood Life. A source claiming to be Anthony’s friend tells the outlet that she’s looking at the child as her “second chance”.
In March, Anthony told the Associated Press, “If I am blessed enough to have another child — if I’d be dumb enough to bring another kid into this world knowing that there’d be a potential that some jackass, their little snot-nose kid would then say something mean to my kid — I don’t think I could live with that.”
The source tells Hollywood Life that Casey is still in her first trimester.
The pregnancy has not yet been confirmed by Anthony or her reps. And who’s the father? According to what the source told HL, Anthony has been dating a man for about five months. “He’s just an ordinary good-looking guy who happened to fall in love with her,” the alleged friend says.
This isn’t the first time that the rumor mill has churned out reports that Anthony is pregnant. Last February, outlets were reporting that Anthony was pregnant with her second child and “couldn’t be more excited to be a mother again.” The rumors, however, turned out to be false.
Anthony first made headlines back in 2008, when her daughter, two-year-old Caylee Marie, was reported missing by Cindy Anthony, Caylee’s maternal grandmother. Casey was arrested a day later on charges of child neglect– she told police that Caylee had been taken by a babysitter.
Casey was charged with first-degree murder on October 2008, and Calyee’s skeletal remains were found on December 11, 2008. Anthony was later acquitted, but is aware that much of the world believes she killed her daughter.
