WEC 47 Fighter Salaries

The Ohio State Athletic Commission released the fighter salaries for WEC 47 today. The biggest earner of the event was Joseph Benavidez, who brought home $29,000 for his submission win over Miguel Torres. Each winner on the card received a win bonus equal to his base salary. For example, Dominick Cruz was guaranteed $9,000 to show, but doubled that to $18,000 in take home pay for his win over Brian Bowles. No bonus was awarded in the Leonard Garica/George Roop fight that ended in a split draw. A full list of all salaries can be found after the jump.
