David Loiseau Out Of UFC 113 Bout With John Salter

David “The Crow” Loiseau was scheduled to replace the injured Nick Catone at UFC 113 next month, but The Canadian Press reported this afternoon that Loiseau is off the card.

The report said that Loiseau was pulled from the card by the local athletic commission, but did not reveal specific details.

Loiseau, a long-time UFC veteran and former middleweight title contender, was scheduled to face John Salter on the May 8 card, which takes place at the Bell Centre in Montreal. Loiseau’s last UFC tenure ended in April 2009 after a UFC 97 loss to Ed Herman.

UFC 113 is headlined by a much-anticipated rematch between UFC light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida and Shogun Rua, and also features the return of Kimbo Slice as he takes on Ultimate Fighter housemate Matt Mitrione.
