Star New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez, 23, is wanted for questioning in connection with the murder of an “associate” found dead near his home, reports ABC. The body of the 27-year-old Boston man was found about a mile from Hernandez’s mansion in North Attleboro, Massachusetts, around 5:30 p.m. yesterday.
This area is basically Patriots-ville. Ty Warren used to own Hernandez's house, Adalius Thomas and Deion Branch were neighbors, others close

According the Sun Chronicle, Hernandez’s house is located on Ronald C. Meyer Drive in the Westwood Estates subdivision. The body was found on John Dietsch Boulevard in an industrial area, discovered by a teenager, according to WPRI.
Neither Hernandez nor his reps are commenting on the case. Patriots Vice President of Media Relations Stacey James released the following statement:
I am aware of the reports, but I do not anticipate that we will be commenting publicly during an ongoing police investigation.

3. His Connection to the Case Revolves Around a Mysterious Rental Car
The investigation involves a rental car somehow tied to Hernandez, according to Sports Illustrated. The Sun Chronicle, who first reported the story of a dead body being found by a 15-year-old jogger on Monday evening, reports that investigators were seeking to lift prints off of the 2013 Black Chevrolet Suburban (similar to the one pictured above).
The car was reportedly rented from Enterprise and has Rhode Island plates. Local police found the vehicle, empty, soon after the body was discovered.

It’s not known if the any of the incidents are directly related.
5. Hernandez Has Been Recovering From Injury
Hernandez is recovering from a shoulder injury but appeared at minicamp last week.
The star tight-end signed a five-year extension to his contract in 2012, worth $40 million. According to the Boston Herald, Hernandez is considered “one of the team’s top offensive weapons.”
With Hernandez’s season in doubt, fans are already speculating that newly signed backup QB Tim Tebow will see most of his time at the tight end position.
