Donald Trump swept Nebraska and West Virginia in the latest Republican primaries.
While both Ted Cruz and John Kasich have suspended their campaigns, the candidates were still eligible to receive votes in both primaries. Nebraska and other upcoming states still play a role in Trump’s attempt to reach the 1,237 delegates needed to secure the nomination.
According to FiveThirtyEight, Nebraska’s 36 delegates are awarded to the candidate with the most votes statewide.
