After being questioned by police investigators for several hours, Diamond Reynolds, who filmed the aftermath of the police shooting of her boyfriend, Philando Castile, in Falcon Heights, Minnesota, spoke emotionally to the media and supporters.

Reynolds, who also goes by the name Lavish Reynolds, was in the car Wednesday night with her 4-year-old daughter when a St. Anthony Police officer opened fire on Castile, who was taken to the hospital and later died. Reynolds’ Facebook Live video shows her dying boyfriend and the police taking her out of the car and into custody. You can watch her video here.

Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton has called for independent investigations to be conducted by both state and federal authorities.
The officer who fatally shot Castile has not yet been identified.
Castile worked as a cafeteria manager at a school in Saint Paul.
He was going to turn 33 on Friday.
