Pennsylvania Author Justin Mohn Beheaded Father, Police Say, & Displayed Head on YouTube

YouTube (Justin Mohn) Justin Mohn, including in the YouTube video.

Justin Mohn is a Levittown, Pennsylvania, man accused of beheading his father on January 30, police said, and then holding up the severed head in an extremely graphic YouTube video.

Mohn was taken into custody on suspicion of first-degree murder and denied bail, according to NBC News. A complaint accuses him of murder, abuse of a corpse, and possessing a machete. That complaint says the victim’s wife, Denice Mohn, discovered the headless body, which police located in a bathroom. They found Michael Mohn’s head in a cooking pot, it says.

In the video manifesto, which was reviewed and saved by Heavy before it was taken down, Mohn, 32, went on a lengthy rant about the federal government, illegal immigration and President Biden after saying, “This is the head of Mike Mohn, a federal employee of over 20 years and my father. He is now in hell for eternity as a traitor to his country.”

According to ABC 6, Michael Mohn was an engineer for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Philadelpia.

Be forewarned that the details in this story are extremely disturbing.

In the video, Mohn displayed a bloody head wrapped in a plastic bag. Middletown Township Police confirmed they had Mohn in custody. Mohn gave his name in the more than 14-minute long video.

“My name is Justin Mohn. I am the commander of America’s national network of militias, which you may know of as Mohn’s militia,” he said. In the extremely disturbing video, he then called for Biden’s “abdication” and political violence against federal employees, courthouses and journalists. At another point in the video, he demanded all federal employees resign or “this is your fate,” and showed the severed head in a pot. He repeatedly called for a revolution in the video.

In addition, law enforcement sources told LevittownNow.com that “a video posted on YouTube by a man identified as Justin Mohn was tied to the death.” The site confirmed that the man in the video “held up what appeared to be the decapitated head of a man Mohn said was his father.” The complaint confirmed that police believe Justin Mohn posted the graphic video.

The video was on the YouTube page @justinmohn6542, which had 115 subscribers. The page was still live on January 30, but the video had been removed. Mohn is the author of books listed on Amazon.com, including one called “America’s Coming Bloody Revolution,” and another titled “Poems I Wrote While Stoned.” He called for the impeachment of FBI director Christopher Wray last February on his Facebook page. In 2020, he wrote on Facebook, “#Yeezy for Preezy twenty-twenty-feezy! 2024 may be the first year I bother to vote.”

When touting the “America’s Coming Bloody Revolution” book on his Facebook page, Mohn wrote, “I believe the time has come for action.” He also wrote a book called “The Revolution Leader’s Survival Guide,” according to his Facebook page.

One of his book captions says that Justin Mohn’s “four year stay in Colorado caused multiple lawsuits and changed the possible outcomes of the 2020 U.S. Presidential election by exposing 3 Presidential candidates as corrupt which forced them to drop out of the race.” A 2017 book description says he wrote then-President Trump a letter, according to Levittown Now.

In 2023, he filed a lawsuit against the federal government that reads, in part, “Justin Mohn, a 2014 graduate of Pennsylvania State University, returns for the fourth time pro se to sue the United States for allowing him to borrow money to attend college without advising him he may not find satisfactory work as an overeducated white man almost ten years later.”

Here’s what you need to know:

In the video, Mohn, after displaying his father’s head and saying the man was a federal employee, added, “It is said those who commit treason and betray others occupy the lowest pits of hell for all time. The federal government of America has declared war on America’s citizens and the American states. America is rotting from the inside out as far-left woke mobs rampage our once-prosperous cities, turning them into lawless zones.”

The screenshot above shows the moment that Mohn held up the severed head on camera, but the head was cropped out by Heavy. Heavy also blurred the head in the screenshot below. It shows the moment he held up a pot with the head inside.

“The federal government is the enemy. … This is America, and our freedoms we are fighting for. Joe Biden is no longer in power. I am now officially the acting president of America under martial law,” Mohn said in the YouTube video. He said Biden should abdicate and if he didn’t, he wanted him captured.

He then named a federal judge and various federal officials, saying he was putting a bounty on them. He gave the address of the federal judge during the video.

Mohn then ranted about taxes, Communism, Antifa, Black Lives Matter, LGBTQ people and gender ideology in schools, declaring that the economy is “near destruction” and most Americans can “no longer afford the American dream.” He referred to the U.S. as a “Judeo-Christian nation.”

He said that a “fifth column army of illegal immigrants infiltrates our border” and referred to the Biden administration as “the traitorous Biden regime.” Mohn claimed the FBI once showed up at his door and threatened him with arrest.

He said that “the traitorous Biden regime” wants to send “America’s military overseas to fight for Ukraine and die in a Russian winter.” He also claimed without evidence that electors from both the Democratic and Republican parties wanted him to be president in 2020. He also claimed that there is belief that he is “the Messiah.”

Heavy is not sharing the video because of its extremely graphic nature.

On his Facebook page, which was still live as of January 30, Mohn says he “studied at Penn State,” is “from Levittown, Pennsylvania” and “lives in Colorado Springs, Colorado.”

State of PennsylvaniaMichael Mohn.

A search of state of Pennsylvania business databases shows that Michael Mohn, 68, was the owner of a company called M & D Cleaning Products. The address matches the home where the murder occurred.

Michael F. Mohn is also listed in the state database as the owner of a company called “Power Writers.” Mike and Michael Mohn does not come up in federal employee salary databases from 2015 to 2022.

According to Levittown Now, “9-1-1 received a call from a distraught woman stating that her husband’s head was found inside her home.” The YouTube video with the head was posted about an hour before the 911 call, the newspaper reported.

Justin Mohn was arrested “just before 10 p.m. on Tuesday in the area of Fort Indiantown Gap, a sprawling Pennsylvania National Guard Training Center and heliport,” Levittown Now reported.

Middletown Township Chief of Police Joseph Bartorilla said in a news conference on January 30 that police were called to the residence. When they entered it, they found a deceased man upstairs in the home. He did not identify the victim.

Police established a person of interest, the chief said. Due to “excellent investigative work by our officers and detectives, we were able to locate the person of interest,” Bartorilla said. He said the person of interest, whom he did not name in the news conference, was located 100 miles away from the scene and was detained near where police found his vehicle.

“We don’t believe there’s a threat to anyone in the area. We are pretty confident the person of interest is the person we’re looking for,” he said.

He said the person of interest is in custody and he declined to comment on the victim’s manner of death.

Asked whether the crime was posted on social media, the chief said, “I don’t know. I’m hearing it was. I guess it was because that’s what I am hearing.” But he said he had not officially confirmed that information.

3. Justin Mohn, Who Wrote Political Posts on Social Media, Could Not Find a Full-Time Job That Satisfied Him After Graduating With a Degree in Agribusiness Management, a Federal Court Decision Says

Facebook (Justin Mohn)Justin Mohn Facebook post.

In the February 2023 Facebook post about Christopher Wray, Mohn wrote,

There is currently a resolution of impeachment in the hands of the following #Pennsylvania legislators to impeach #FBI Director #ChrisWray for corruption involving pay to play politics and racketeering. This racket creates unemployment to create homelessness to create crime in states such as #Colorado so prisons can make money at the expense of the taxpayers while endangering law enforcement. This is a non partisan movement which has nothing to do with the FBI’s raid on Trump’s home. Contact your below legislators to support this impeachment.

However, at least at one time, he seemed to prefer rapper Kanye West for president.

In 2021, he implied COVID-19 was a conspiracy, writing, “Spoiler Alert in this post about the new James Bond movie ‘To Time to Die.’ The movie started development in 2016 about a manufactured virus that will be used as a super weapon around the globe to kill millions of people… then there was a pandemic which began in 2019… Coincidence or not, Hollywood is really throwing it in our faces.”

In 2019, he wrote about being a vegetarian briefly but then going back to eating meat. He also had an account with songs on Deezer that has since been removed.

Mohn’s federal lawsuit claimed he was not able to get a job.

“He essentially claims the United States lent him money which he needed to repay under a student loan contract beginning in late 2014 but this loan allowed him to get a college education and he cannot find a satisfactory job as an overeducated white man to repay the loan. He seeks over $10 million from the United States. We dismissed his similar complaints three times including a negligence claim,” it reads.

The court decision says:

Mr. Mohn’s allegations are the same ones we dismissed three times before. Mr. Mohn and his parents agreed to repay federal student loans to pay for his college education at Pennsylvania State University. And all seemed well at the start. Penn State awarded him a bachelor’s degree in agribusiness management in May 2014. He began paying his monthly student loan six months later. But then Mr. Mohn could not find a full-time job at some unpleaded later time. He obtained only part-time jobs. He moved to Colorado to take a full-time job at a credit union. He later accepted a full-time job with an insurance company earning a higher hourly wage. He views his work post-graduate years as ‘malemployment.’

The court again dismissed his claim.

According to Levittown Now, Justin Mohn “was reported to have had ‘domestic issues’ at an apartment he shared with roommates. The issues led to interactions with the Colorado Springs Police Department,” according to a court file.

In 2019, Mohn “sued Progressive Insurance after he failed to move ahead in the company noted that he was terminated from a customer service job in Colorado because he allegedly kicked open an office door,” the newspaper reported. He alleged he was terminated from the insurance company because he is male, Levittown Now reported.

4. Justin Mohn’s YouTube Page Claims He Is a Musician

Facebook (Justin Mohn)Justin Mohn.

Mohn’s social media accounts position him as a musician, although none of the pages has a very large following.

“Justin Mohn released his first album, ‘The Story Of Humanity,’ in September of 2017. His second album, ‘Colofunkinrado,’ was released September of 2018. His music style is a blend of rock, funk, and hip-hop, using piano and organ as primary instruments along with explicit lyrics, drums, synthesized bass, and other synthesized instruments,” the YouTube page reads.

The page also claims that Mohn “is also an author of 3 books” and links to an Amazon.com page.

Mohn also has a Spotify page. He has a second YouTube page that is still up, as well.

He claimed in the video that he worked as a contractor for Microsoft.

5. Justin Mohn’s Books, Available on Amazon, Speak About ‘America’s Coming Bloody Revolution’ & ‘Poems I Wrote While Stoned’

Facebook (Justin Mohn)Justin Mohn

The Amazon.com page bio reads, “Justin Mohn is an author of 7 books and musician of 3 albums and one single. His life story is unbelievable and there may not be enough words to describe him, but one may begin to understand his complexity and experiences through his art. He only wishes to bring positive change to the world.”

His books listed on Amazon include “Poems I Wrote While Stoned: A Collection Of Poems.”

The poetry book’s description reads, “A collection of short poems by author, musician, and producer Justin Mohn with themes of love, war, revolution, science, and drugs. All of the poems were written by Justin Mohn when he was either in college at Penn State University or living in Colorado after college… and you guessed it, high on marijuana. Poetry readers, learners, academics, and musicians will immediately notice the strong musical beat in Mohn’s poetry. There are over 80 poems in this 140 page poetry book.”

He also wrote a Kindle book called “The Punishing.”

Its caption reads,

It is the year 2481, and Satan has conquered Earth. After rejecting their Messiah and straying from the word of God, humanity falls under complete control of Satan and his minions – a race of artificially modified humans, who no longer call themselves Homo Sapiens, but rather, Homo Demonicus. Satan keeps the entire human race in captivity as his slaves, but the slaves don’t know they are slaves until they graduate from high school. Upon graduation, humans are put through The Punishing where they are accused of all their sins from birth until graduation, and punished most torturously. The humans who survive The Punishing then become slaves to the Homo Demonicus for the rest of their lives.

Another book was called “The Pink.”

“1 billion years in the future when humanity has colonized the known universe, while some humans live on planets all across the galaxies, most humans live on The Pink – a massive, artificial intelligence structure made of both metal and organic flesh which stretches across the cosmos and grows on her own. The Pink looks like a neuron network that wraps around entire star systems and planets, turning the skies of planets pink, the color of which gave The Pink her name,” the caption read.

He also wrote a book called “America’s Coming Bloody Revolution.” Its blurb reads, “Similar to Thomas Paine’s “Common Sense” published in 1776 which helped inspire the American Revolution, the short, easy to understand pamphlet explains why another revolution is likely in America… and how it could be successful.”

One book follows the story of a fictional Ohio farmer who “slowly and painfully learns the dark secret of Colorado involving a widespread Satanic Cult, the Democratic Party, and the Cold War.”
