Jones (illness) has been deemed questionable to suit up in Friday's Week 13 matchup against the Raiders. Jones has been dealing with an illness and was held out of the first two practices this week. However, he was estimated as a full participant during Thursday's walkthrough, which bodes well for his chance of playing Friday. Jones has been a fixture on special teams this season but has yet to play a defensive snap through 11 contests.
Jones (chest) registered two tackles (one solo) in Saturday's 26-13 preseason loss to the Jaguars. Jones missed the final three playoff games for the Chiefs last season due to a chest injury he sustained in the wild-card round against the Dolphins. He was back on the field for Kansas City's preseason opener, when he played 39 snaps (29 on defense, 10 on special teams). Jones played mostly on special teams last season, and he's looking to make the Chiefs' 53-man roster in a depth linebacker role.
