The Chiefs activated Nnadi (triceps) from the active/PUP list Tuesday, Matt McMullen of the team's official site reports. Nnadi was placed on the PUP list at the start of training camp for a triceps injury he sustained in the Chiefs' wild-card win over the Dolphins. The 2018 third-round pick out of Florida State played in all 17 regular-season games in 2023, finishing with 29 tackles (16 solo), including 1.0 sacks, and one pass defended. Now that he's healthy, Nnadi will look to get in reps with the first-team defense alongside fellow pass rushers George Karlaftis, Mike Danna and Chris Jones (shoulder).
The Chiefs placed Nnadi (triceps) on the active/PUP list Wednesday. Nnadi suffered a triceps injury during Kansas City's wild-card win over the Dolphins after suiting up for all 17 of the team's regular-season games, and he was sidelined during OTAs. The defensive tackle can be activated from the PUP list at any point throughout training camp, though at this time it remains to be seen whether he'll be available for the Chiefs' playoff opener against Jacksonville on August 10.
The Chiefs re-signed Nnadi (triceps) on Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Nnadi has spent all six of his seasons with the Chiefs and is now coming back for a seventh. He appeared in all 17 regular-season games last season but suffered a triceps injury seven snaps into the wild-card win over the Dolphins and missed the remainder of the playoffs. Reliable as anyone, Nnadi has missed just one career regular-season contest.
