Mosley (pectoral) is officially active for Sunday's game against the Colts. The 28-year-old was reinstated from the injured list Saturday after missing the first 10 games of the season while recovering from a torn pectoral, and he's ready to make his season debut Sunday at Indianapolis. Moseley will provide a boost to Detroit's secondary, which will be without starting cornerback Terrion Arnold (groin).

Making season debut Week 12
Mosley (pectoral) is officially active for Sunday's game against the Colts. The 28-year-old was reinstated from the injured list Saturday after missing the first 10 games of the season while recovering from a torn pectoral, and he's ready to make his season debut Sunday at Indianapolis. Moseley will provide a boost to Detroit's secondary, which will be without starting cornerback Terrion Arnold (groin).
Activated from injured reserve
The Lions activated Moseley (pectoral) from injured reserve Saturday. Moseley suffered a torn pec over the summer and is now poised to make his season debut Sunday against the Colts. It will be a welcomed addition for a Detroit secondary that will be without Terrion Arnold (groin) for Sunday's contest. Moseley is officially still listed as questionable for Week 12.
Could return Sunday
Moseley (pectoral) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Colts. Despite a week of full practice sessions, the Tennessee product's availability Sunday is still in question. Moseley has yet to play this season after tearing his pec in early August and still must be activated to Detroit's active roster in order to suit up in Week 12. If he can't return, expect Amik Robertson to serve as the Lions' top slot corner.
Continues getting practice reps
Moseley (pectoral) was listed as a full participant in Wednesday's practice estimate. Moseley was designated to return from IR on Nov. 8 and continues to work toward making his 2024 debut. His ability to be listed as a full participant Wednesday is a good sign that his return could be coming sooner rather than later. A clearer picture of his status for Sunday will likely come Thursday or Friday.
Will not play Sunday
Moseley (pectoral) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Jaguars. Moseley remains on injured reserve after the Lions designated him for return nine days ago. Carlton Davis and Terrion Arnold will continue to handle cornerback duties in a matchup with Jacksonville on Sunday.
Remains on IR with pec injury
Moseley (pectoral) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against Houston. Moseley began the regular season on injured reserve after tearing his pectoral in early August, but his 21-day practice window to return from IR opened Wednesday, per Christian Booher of SI.com. Moseley was able to practice in full all week, and while he won't suit up Sunday, the 28-year-old could be in line to make his 2024 debut in Week 11 against the Jaguars on Sunday, Nov. 17.
Lands on IR, designated to return
The Lions placed Moseley (pectoral) on injured reserve Tuesday and designated him to return. Moseley tore his pec during a practice in early August and is expected to be sidelined for an extended period. Under a new NFL rule, the Lions were able to exclude him from the 53-man roster on cut-down day and place him on IR while designating him to return. As such, Moseley will be eligible to return after missing Detroit's first four games of the season.
In line to shift to IR
The Lions plan to place Moseley (pectoral) on injured reserve, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. According to Schefter, once the move is made, Moseley will be deemed eligible to return to the field at some point this season if he is able. With Moseley sidelined for the foreseeable future, expect Javelin Guidry to serve as Detroit's second-string slot corner.
Out indefinitely with torn pec
Moseley (pectoral) suffered a torn pec during Tuesday's practice and is out indefinitely, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Moseley continues to deal with brutal injury luck, after having suffered torn ACLs in each of the last two seasons. The Lions re-signed him on a one-year prove-it contract this offseason, but Moseley's status is now up in the air for the 2024 season. Last year, C.J. Gardner-Johnson (shoulder) suffered a torn pectoral in September while a member of the Lions, and he wasn't able to retake the field until January. Moseley hasn't been given a recovery timetable but doesn't seem likely to be available Week 1 versus the Rams.
