Haskins caught both of his targets for 39 yards and a touchdown in the 34-27 win over the Broncos on Thursday. Haskins isn't known for his receiving prowess. In fact, Thursday accounted for the second-year back's first two receptions of the 2024 campaign, and he now has just 13 total across his career despite playing 216 offensive snaps. While the 25-year-old showcased his impressive footwork by juking out a Denver defender en route to 34-yard checkdown touchdown where he effectively went untouched, that type of result isn't likely to occur again.

Scores touchdown in win
Haskins caught both of his targets for 39 yards and a touchdown in the 34-27 win over the Broncos on Thursday. Haskins isn't known for his receiving prowess. In fact, Thursday accounted for the second-year back's first two receptions of the 2024 campaign, and he now has just 13 total across his career despite playing 216 offensive snaps. While the 25-year-old showcased his impressive footwork by juking out a Denver defender en route to 34-yard checkdown touchdown where he effectively went untouched, that type of result isn't likely to occur again.
Gets involved after Dobbins' injury
Haskins took one carry for three yards during Monday's 30-23 loss versus the Ravens. After regular starter J.K. Dobbins suffered an MCL sprain, Haskins was able to pace Chargers running backs in terms of snaps in Week 12. With that said, his one carry lagged far behind Gus Edwards' nine. He projects to rotate with rookie sixth-rounder Kimani Vidal behind Edwards when the Chargers travel to Atlanta in Week 13.
Scores touchdown against former team
Haskins tallied two carries for four yards and a touchdown in the 27-17 win over the Titans on Sunday. The Chargers seemed to do Haskins a solid against his former team, as the second-year running back was handed a one-yard touchdown run late in the second half after J.K. Dobbins effectively ran the entire way down the field. With Gus Edwards (ankle) back in the fold, it's important to note Haskins played ahead of Kimani Vidal, who was a healthy inactive, but that still led to just five offensive snaps total.
Plays behind Dobbins, Vidal
Haskins carried twice for two yards while playing three of the Chargers' 66 snaps on offense in Monday's 17-15 loss to the Cardinals. Even with Gus Edwards (ankle) having been placed on injured reserve following the Chargers' Week 5 bye, Haskins has remained the No. 3 back on the depth chart. Rookie Kimani Vidal -- who was inactive for the Chargers' first four games -- has stepped into Edwards' role as the top backup to J.K. Dobbins, with Vidal outpacing Haskins in both snaps and touches in both of the past two contests.
Just two carries in win
Haskins carried the ball twice for five yards in the 23-17 win over the Chargers on Sunday. There was some thought the 24-year-old could take over for the injured Gus Edwards (ankle) given Haskins had been active all five games, but rookie Kimani Vidal stepped in immediately and effectively ended that speculation with 51 total yards and a touchdown on six touches. Expect Haskins to remain on the active roster, but used specifically on special teams.
Handles three carries in win
Haskins rushed three times for 11 yards in Sunday's 26-3 win over the Panthers. Haskins played just five of the Chargers' 69 offensive snaps Sunday, well behind Gus Edwards (33) and J.K. Dobbins (32). With Edwards and Dobbins splitting the majority of work atop the running back depth chart, the 24-year-old Haskins should continue to operate in a similar depth role going forward. The Chargers will visit the Steelers in Week 3.
Gets green light
Haskins (toe) is active Sunday against the Panthers. Haskins picked up a toe injury at some point in the last week but is now well enough to take the field in Week 2. The Michigan product played no role in the Chargers offense last Sunday, playing just 19 snaps on special teams. He'll likely be in a similar role this Sunday, barring any injuries.
Questionable for Week 2
Haskins (toe) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's matchup with the Panthers. The first-year Charger is in jeopardy of missing the Sunday's contest after logging a week of limited practice sessions due to a toe injury. Los Angeles' special-teams unit will take a hit if Haskins is unable to suit up in Week 2, as he was one of the Chargers' top special-teamers in Week 1.
Pops up with toe injury
Haskins (toe) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice. Haskins logged 19 special-teams snaps during the Chargers' Week 1 win, but he now appears to be dealing with a toe injury. If the third-year running back from Michigan has to miss time due to this issue, expect Kimani Vidal to work as Los Angeles' third-string running back.
