Reaches injury settlement

Fitzpatrick (undisclosed) was waived from injured reserve after reaching an injury settlement with the Chargers on Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Fitzpatrick sustained an undisclosed injury during training camp with the Chargers, ultimately being placed on injured reserve last week. The wide receiver will now be eligible to pass a physical and sign elsewhere this season.

Reverting to IR

Fitzpatrick (undisclosed) reverted to the Chargers' injured reserve list Friday, per the NFL's transaction log. Fitzpatrick wasn't picked up by another club after the Chargers waived him with an injury designation Thursday, so now he'll go to their IR list. Unless he sorts out an injury settlement with the team, he'll have to stay there for the entire season.
