The Bills signed Jefferson to a one-year contract Wednesday. Jefferson was released by Cleveland on Tuesday, but he quickly got another opportunity with a squad he's already familiar with. Back in the 2020-21 season, he posted 23 tackles (14 solo) including 3.5 sacks with Buffalo.

Jefferson (groin) has been an active participant at training camp with the Browns, Scott Petrak of Browns Zone reports. Jefferson signed with Cleveland in the offseason after ending the 2023 season with the Jets by undergoing surgery to repair two ruptures of his groin. The defensive lineman is competing with the likes of Michael Hall and Siaki Ika for a spot on the active roster in 2024.
