Da Silva recorded 23 points (8-13 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds, two assists and two steals in 26 minutes during Sunday's 91-86 win over the Pelicans in the Summer League. Da Silva built upon a 13-point outing in Friday's win over the Cavaliers with a 23-point outburst against the Pelicans Sunday. The Colorado product has been a highly efficient scorer, shooting 57.9 percent from the floor and 54.5 percent from three. Despite the strong start to Summer League, Da Silva will face an uphill battle to a significant role for the Magic come the regular season due to their depth at the wing positions.

Latest Magic News
Tristan da Silva : Scores 23 in SL
Franz Wagner : Agrees to massive extension
The Magic signed Wagner to a five-year, $224 million rookie contract extension Friday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. Wagner's five-year contract extension could be worth up to $269 million if he earns an All-NBA selection. The 22-year-old forward is one of the best young players in the league, averaging 19.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.1 steals in 32.5 minutes across 72 regular-season appearances in 2023-24. Wagner and Paolo Banchero have established themselves as Orlando's building blocks, as the Magic's 47-35 record from last season was the franchise's best since the 2010-11 campaign (52-30).
Trevelin Queen : Staying in Orlando
The Magic signed Queen to a two-way contract Thursday, Chris Haynes of Turner Sports reports. Queen will play on a two-way contract with Orlando for the second straight season. While the 27-year-old guard spent most of the 2023-24 campaign with the Magic's G League affiliate, the Osceola Magic, he averaged 2.9 points, 1.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 11.8 minutes across his 14 regular-season NBA appearances.
Jonathan Isaac : Staying in Orlando
Isaac and the Magic agreed to a five-year, $84 million contract renegotiation and extension Tuesday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. Isaac has spent the first five years of his career in Orlando and is now set to spend another five with the franchise. In 2023-24, the 26-year-old forward averaged 6.8 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in 15.8 minutes across 58 appearances. While availability has always been an issue for Isaac, he is one of the NBA's best and most versatile defenders when on the floor.
Moritz Wagner : Returns to Magic on two-year deal
Wagner agreed to a two-year, $22 million deal with the Magic on Tuesday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. The Magic declined Wagner's team option on Saturday, but the sides agreed on a new deal to bring him back for two more seasons. The 27-year-old averaged a career-high 10.9 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 0.5 steals across 17.7 minutes last year. Moreover, Wagner shot a career-high 60.1 percent from the field.
Gary Harris : Staying in Orlando
Harris agreed to a two-year, $14 million contract with the Magic on Monday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. Harris has elected to return to Orlando after seeing his production dip yet again during the 2023-24 season. He averaged 6.9 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 54 appearances (27 starts), and he's played in 102 games over the past two years. Harris figures to serve primarly in a bench role in 2024-25, likely playing backup shooting guard minutes behind Kentavious Caldwell-Pope.
Goga Bitadze : Staying in Orlando
Bitadze and the Magic agreed to a three-year, $25 million contract Monday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. In his first full season with the Magic, Bitadze made 62 appearances and 33 starts. As a starter, he averaged 7.5 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.7 blocks and 0.8 steals in 23.8 minutes. As a reserve, Bitadze averaged just 2.1 points and 1.6 rebounds in 5.9 minutes per game. Wendell Carter has two years left on his current deal, so Bitadze projects to be a backup again in 2024-25.
Wendell Carter : Undergoing offseason surgery
Carter will undergo surgery to stabilize the third metacarpal in his left hand, Jason Beede of the Orlando Sentinel reported Saturday. Carter is expected to make a full recovery ahead of the 2024-25 season. In simpler terms, Carter will have a procedure to fully fix his left hand -- the same hand he sustained a fractured middle finger on early this season -- and is expected to be ready for the 2024-25 campaign. Carter missed a month and a half after sustaining the injury (which required surgery) in November but was able to return and appear in 55 games (48 starts) overall. He's set for re-evaluation four weeks after the procedure.
