Season 2 of Peacock’s hit reality competition show “The Traitors” ends tonight, March 7, with the finale and reunion show both dropping on the streamer at 9 p.m. Eastern.
After “Shahs of Sunset” star Mercedes “MJ” Javid broke the roundtable tie at the start of last week’s episode, “Bachelor” star Peter Weber was Banished from the game, but not before announcing he was a Faithful. The target then shifted onto actual Traitor and “Married to Medicine” star Phaedra Parks. While Parks was able to Murder former British Parliament member John Bercow alongside her fellow Traitor, returning player and “Below Deck” alum Kate Chastain, she wasn’t able to avoid suspicion and was unanimously Banished from the game.
Heading into the finale, six players remain including the lone Traitor Chastain and Faithfuls Javid, Sandra Diaz-Twine, Shereé Whitfield, Trishelle Cannatella, Chris “CT” Tamburello. Read on below for a recap full of spoilers from the finale episode.

Kate Chastain Pulled Off the Last Murder of the Season
The finale opened with the last remaining Traitor, Kate, entering the turret to decide which of her competitors would be the last one Murdered. With MJ having a Shield and being immune from Murder, Kate whittled down her options to Shereé and Trishelle, hoping CT would help in the final challenge and Sandra would catch suspicion for being a Traitor if left in the game.
The next morning at breakfast, MJ, CT, Kate, and Sandra arrived and waited to see who would round out the final 5. CT and Sandra both expressed suspicion that Kate was a Traitor given her reaction to Phaedra at the last Round Table, while MJ thought that Sandra may be a Traitor. Trishelle was the last one to enter, meaning Shereé was the last contestant Murdered, with Kate hoping the elimination of a fellow Bravo star would keep eyes off of her.
After Breakfast, the group got ready for their final mission, and CT and Sandra made a plan to vote for Kate at the final Round Table, while Kate put Sandra’s name in Trishelle and MJ’s ears.
The Group Added to the Prize Pot
A helicopter then arrived to bring the final 5 to their last mission, flying the contestants over the Scottish countryside. Heading into the mission, the prize pot stood at $158,100. For their last mission, the players were challenged with completing a series of tasks and heading to a ship in the middle of the sea next to them, with a chance to add up to $50,000 to the pot.
In the end, the Faithfuls and Traitor were able to work together and win all the money available. The final prize pot was $208,100.
After the mission, CT explained that Trishelle wanted him to vote out Kate, but he was having second thoughts. After CT told Sandra that Kate and MJ were gunning for her, Kate spoke with Sandra and sewed seeds of doubt about CT.
CT put it plainly, “Everybody’s telling everybody what they want to hear.”
The Final Round Table
Things heated up at the final Round Table. To kick things off, CT opened the discussions by laying out the suspicions against Kate, and Trishelle gave Kate an opportunity to explain her reaction to Phaedra’s elimination. Kate lied and explained that she didn’t know Phaedra was a Traitor, but rather felt betrayed by her given their connection as Bravo stars.
MJ then accused Sandra of being a Traitor, saying she spent a lot of one-on-one time with Phaedra in her final days. Sandra explained she thought Phaedra or Shereé were Traitors, and wanted to spend time with them to make sure she was protected from Murder. Sandra’s justification wasn’t enough to sway CT, who said he believed she was a Traitor.
After locking in the votes, Sandra was the last player Banished from the Round Table, with only Sandra voting against Kate. Sandra revealed her status as a Faithful, eliciting exasperated reactions from the remaining players.
The Fire of Truth
The final four players then headed outside for the Fire of Truth, their final chance to eliminate a Traitor to secure the prize pot goes to the remaining Faithfuls.
Host Alan Cumming gave the group the option to end the game or banish another member of the group. Kate voted to end the game, but the other remaining contestants all voted to continue with another banishment. The group immediately went to the vote, and Kate was Banished unanimously, with Kate casting her vote for Trishelle. Kate revealed her status as a Traitor, getting big smiles from the final 3.
Despite the final Traitor being eliminated, Alan gave the top 3 one last chance to end the game or continue to vote somebody else out of the group. MJ voted to end the game, however, Trishelle opted to Banish again, saying she still had a “glimmer of doubt” about a remaining player. CT also voted to Banish again, saying there was only one person left in the game that he trusted 100%.
MJ’s jaw dropped after seeing the fire turn red, and the final vote ended in a tie, with CT voting for MJ, MJ voting for Trishelle, and Trishelle voting for CT. After an emotional discussion, Alan had the players each cast one more vote to try and break the tie. CT and MJ left their votes unchanged, with Trishelle changing her vote to MJ. MJ was the last player Banished from the game. “C’est pas juste,” MJ said in her final confessional, which translates to “It’s not right.”
After MJ left, Alan had Trishelle and CT reveal their status as Faithfuls. Trishelle and CT won “The Traitors” season 2 and each walked away with half of the $208,100 prize pot.
The full second season of “The Traitors”, including the Reunion special, is available to stream on Peacock.
