Ben Sullivan is the president of the world famous Oxford Union. He’s been arrested on charges of rape and attempted rape, reports Sky News.

1. Sullivan Was Woken in His Bed by Police
The 21-year-old president was arrested in Oxford on the morning of May 7, according to the Thames-Valley police. The university paper, The Tab, said that Sullivan was “woken at approximately 7:10 a.m. and taken to a local police station.”
2. He’s a History Student
Sullivan is a History and Politics student at Christ Church college in Oxford University. In addition, Sullivan is a fan of Chelsea Football Club.

He was elected to the role of president of the union in 2013 and was due to serve through the 2014 school year.
4. He’s One of the Most Famous Students in England
His speeches have been viewed thousands of times on YouTube. In one instance, he delivered an oration in front of Conservative Member of Parliament John Redwood.
5. Sullivan is Embroiled in Another Scandal Right Now
At the end of April, The Tab reported that Sullivan was trying to gag the paper from reporting on an expenses scandal. According to the paper, Sullivan was trying to stop reports about his links for a secret society called “The Banter Squadron.”
