Kristin Davis & Roger Stone: 5 Fast Facts You Need to Know

Kristin Davis’ home on 71st Street in Manhattan was raided by the FBI at the same time Roger Stone was arrested in Fort Lauderdale. Stone is charged with five counts of false statements, one count of witness tampering and one count of an official proceeding. High school student Jonathan Schneiderman posted photos of the raid on the morning of January 25. The pictures posted by Schneiderman showed FBI agents removing boxes and garbage bags from the home.

Stone has maintained his innocence and told reporters on the steps of the courtroom that he would not testify against President Donald Trump, whom he referred to as an “old friend.” Following Stone’s arrest, Davis said in a statement, “All right… as I’m sure many of you have seen the news for the ENTIRE day today, my very close friend, son’s godfather and boss, Roger Stone Jr, was indicted and arrested today.” Davis goes on to say that she will appear on CNN at 9 p.m. in an attempt to “defend [Stone] and provide another point of view.” Davis goes on to say that she will not tolerate any hateful comments toward her friends or family on her social media pages.

1. Stone Was Behind Davis’ Run for New York Governor in 2010

Kristin Davis is a former New York City-based madam, on her Instagram page Davis goes by the moniker, ManhattanMadam. Davis would go on to run for the governor of New York in 2010 and state comptroller in 2013 on the Libertarian ticket, with Roger Stone as her campaign manager. Stone told the New York Daily News in 2010, “This is not a hoax, a prank or a publicity stunt. I want to get her a half-million votes.”


Davis’ communications director was Stone’s longtime associate Andrew Miller.


An ABC News feature on Davis’ political career said that she had received the necessary 15,000 signatures to get on the ballot and that she had established the Anti-Prohibition Party in New York. Davis finished in last place with a little over 20,000 votes.


2. Davis Was Told in July 2018 That She Was Going to Be Supoened in Relation to the Mueller Investigation


It was widely reported that Davis had been contacted in relation to Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russia’s interference in the 2016 presidential election. At the time, Davis was quoted as saying, “It’s very out-of-the-blue for me, very upsetting. For them to come to me for information on Russian collusion – I don’t have anything on that.” Davis testified in August 2018.


3. Stone & His Wife Are Godparents to Davis’ Child


Davis gave birth to her first child in 2016, not long after she was released from prison after serving a sentence for selling prescription drugs to police informants. Davis was convicted in November 2014.


Roger Stone and his wife, Nydia, are the godparents to Davis’ child. A Washington Post article from August 2018 says that Davis was living in Stone’s apartment on 71st street in Manhattan. The piece goes on to say that Nydia rarely goes to New York City to visit her godchild, rather Davis “flies to Florida every three or four months” so they can spend time together. Davis is quoted in the article as calling Nyida “a saint.” In May 2016, Davis told the Daily News that she was no longer in a relationship with the child’s father and that her baby would have two Godfathers.


4. Shortly After Testifying in the Mueller Probe, Davis Opened a Beauty Salon in Harlem


Shortly after Davis’ testified before the Mueller probe, she opened a beauty salon in Harlem. Davis told the Daily Beast in August 2018 of nail artistry, “It’s been a long time since I’ve done it. I’m not up to the standard that I’d want my clients to have.” Bombshell Beauty Lab says on their official website that a Brazilian wax will cost you $50, a bikini wax will set you back $30 while the salon also offers vajazzling services for $20. The opening line of the company’s About page on their website reads, ” Bombshell opened its doors to provide New Yorkers with a glamorous boutique beauty experience.”


5. While a Madam, Davis Said Her Clients Included a Major League Baseball Owner & a New York Real Estate Developer


In a 2009 interview with ABC News, Davis said that he clients included the part owner of a Major League Baseball team, the vice president of a media company and New York real estate developer. Davis said in the interview, “Some of these guys I was invoicing on corporate credit cards. I was writing up monthly bills for computer consulting, construction expenses, all of these things, I was invoicing them monthly so they could get it by their accountants.”
