Here we go again. Another day, another Antonio Brown antic. The former Pittsburgh Steelers star wide receiver is the subject of an alleged scandal after video surfaced of Brown exposing himself at a hotel pool in May 2022.

The New York Post obtained disturbing footage of the embattled All-Pro receiver twice shoving his bare buttocks into a woman’s face at an outdoor swimming pool in Dubai. Bystanders encourage the act, even saying, “One more! Another one!” The situation appeared to be all fun and games until Brown took it a step too far. Initially, the woman appeared to laugh off the incident until he lifted and dunks her in the water.

After the woman swims away, Brown flashes his penis to stunned vacationers as an onlooker, who appears to be shooting the video, exclaims, “Oh, my God!”

According to the New York Post, eyewitnesses said Brown had just met the woman, and “she was fuming after the encounter.”

Amid the controversy surrounding the video, Antonio Brown took to Twitter to state his case:

Every chance they get to sway the heat off themselves they use me. In the video you can clearly see she runs off with my swim trunks. If roles were reversed the headlines would read ‘AB having a wild night with nude female’. Yet when it’s me it automatically becomes a hate crime.

The footage starts only as Brown, 34, exposes his buttocks to the woman, so it’s unknown how his trunks came to be removed.

The Post noted that Brown was asked by a reporter if “he condoned stripping in the pool and exposing himself.”

Brown reportedly texed in response, “Do what u got to do p—y u white boys dead already.”

An hour before defending himself on Twitter, Brown posted an iteration of lyrics to a Greek poem:

Steelers Fans, NFL World React to Antonio Brown Video

It didn’t take long for the Antonio Brown video to go viral once the New York Post and TMZ posted it on their social media channels. The news spread further as Pittsburgh Steelers fans and the NFL world reacted to the video on Twitter and Facebook.

In response to Paul Ziese’s text, always outspoken Pittsburgh media personality Mark Madden tweeted, “He doesn’t deserve help. He’s s*** on people non-stop for years. F*** him.”

NFL news reporter Dov Kleiman tweeted, “Does this make it more likely that the Browns will sign Antonio Brown?”

Steelers fan news account Blitzburgh replied to Brown’s poem with, “TF you doing naked in a public pool bruh.”

Blitz Guy encourages Brown to “stop it” via a Michael Jordan GIF.

Steelers’ Mike Tomlin Took Unnecessary Heat

Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin took a lot of heat from fans and media for how he handled Antonio Brown when he played for Pittsburgh.

Tomlin finally had enough and, after years of putting up with Brown’s immature antics, unloaded him on the then-Oakland Raiders in March 2019 for a third-round 2019 NFL draft pick. It would soon be evident that the Steelers organization made the right move when Brown had an altercation with Raiders general manager Mike Mayock. After a series of off-the-field incidents, Brown was released on Sept. 7 — just days before the 2019 season.

Brown was on the market for two days when the New England Patriots snapped him up on Sept. 9, 2019. A series of roster transactions between Sept. 20, 2019 and January 6, 2022, included being released, twice suspended, signed (by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers) and twice reinstated into the NFL.

As part of Tom Brady‘s Buccaneers, Brown put on a very public display during a New York Jets matchup.

It would be his last incident as a member of the NFL. He’s currently a free agent.

‘CTE’ No Excuse for Antonio Brown

For years, NFL fans have theorized and speculated that (and often defended) Antonio Brown suffers from a condition called CTE from chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE). They speculate he contracted the condition after being knocked out by Bengals’ Vontaze Burfict in a violent on-field collision in 2016 and is the reason for his outlandish behavior since it appeared to start after the collision.

Brett Kollmann, creator/analyst/host of YouTube’s The Film Room, argued that Brown’s immature, attention-seeking behavior began before he entered the league.

“AB was like that before he got drafted by the way. He fell to the 6th round for a reason,” Kollman tweeted.

If what Kollman tweets is accurate, CTE is not an excuse or defense for Antonio Brown.

CTE is defined as “a degenerative brain disease found in athletes, military veterans, and others with a history of repetitive brain trauma” by the Boston University CTE Center.

Currently, CTE can only be diagnosed after death through brain tissue analysis.
