The Jaguars waived/injured Dixon (knee - ACL) on Thursday, Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com reports. Dixon was held out of Wednesday's practice due to a knee injury, which turned out to be a torn ACL. The 25-year-old linebacker will likely clear waivers and revert to the Jaguars' injured reserve. Dixon will shift his focus to rehabbing and getting ready for the 2025 campaign.
Dixon wasn't participating in Wednesday's camp session due to a knee issue, John Shipley of SI.com reports. Dixon's most recent in-game action came back in 2022 when he appeared in three regular-season games with the Jaguars, recording one total tackle and playing 29 total snaps (four defensive and 25 on special teams). He'll likely be competing for a similar role once he returns from his knee injury.
