The Dolphins placed DuBose on injured reserve Saturday due to a shoulder injury. DuBose popped up on the Dolphins' injury report Wednesday with a shoulder injury, and he was unable to practice Thursday and Friday. The severity of the injury isn't clear, but his move to IR will force him to sit out for at least the next four games. The earliest DuBose will be able to return will be Week 8 against the Cardinals on Oct. 27. Both Dee Eskridge and Erik Ezukanma were elevated from the practice squad to the active roster ahead of Sunday's game against the Seahawks, and one of them could be signed to the active roster for as long as DuBose is sidelined.

Placed on IR with shoulder injury
Won't play in Seattle
DuBose (shoulder) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Seahawks, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. DuBose didn't practice Thursday or Friday after starting the week with a limited practice session Wednesday. He has just one catch this season, and DuBose's fantasy value likely will remain minimal as long as the Dolphins are forced to ride backup Skylar Thompson under center.
Not expected to play Sunday
Coach Mike McDaniel said DuBose (shoulder) probably won't play Sunday against the Seahawks, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. DuBose's shoulder injury isn't expected to be a season-ender, but he could miss some time. After playing 18 percent of the offensive snaps in the season opener versus Jacksonville, DuBose was in on 34 percent of the plays last week against Buffalo, but he caught just one of three targets for 13 yards and was the intended receiver on one of Tua Tagovailoa's three interceptions.
Not practicing Thursday
DuBose (shoulder) is not present at the early portion of Thursday's practice open to the media, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports. DuBose was limited in practice Wednesday, but it looks like he'll be listed as 'DNP' on Thursday's injury report. The depth wideout will have one more opportunity to increase his practice level before receiving an injury tag for Sunday's road matchup against the Seahawks.
Pops up on injury report
DuBose (shoulder) was listed as a limited participant in Wednesday's practice, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. DuBose has appeared on the Dolphins' first injury report of the week with a shoulder issue. He'll have two more chances to increase his practice participation leading up to Sunday's game against the Seahawks. DuBose played 26 snaps on offense and caught one pass on three targets for 13 yards in Miami's Week 2 loss to Buffalo.
Crucial mistake in TNF loss
DuBose secured one of three targets for 13 yards during Thursday's 31-10 loss to the Bills. DuBose had a target from Tua Tagovailoa (concussion) bounce off his chest early in the first quarter of Thursday's loss, resulting in a Buffalo interception that set the tone for the night. That mistake will overshadow the second-year pro's first NFL catch, and potentially result in his opportunities on offense being reduced going forward. The Dolphins seem likely to have Skylar Thompson under center Week 3 against Seattle, and as long as Tagovailoa remains in the concussion protocol.
Claimed by Miami
The Dolphins were awarded DuBose off waivers Wednesday. DuBose was waived by the Packers on Tuesday after he was unable to carve out a spot among the crowded wide receiver corps. He'll still be buried on Miami's depth chart, but he'll have the chance to be active on game day if he can impress his new team.
Waived by Green Bay
DuBose was waived by the Packers on Tuesday, Wes Hodkiewicz of the team's official site reports. The wide receiver who caught five passes for 66 yards in the team's preseason opener ended up missing out on the sixth and final slot on the depth chart. DuBose signed a reserve/future contract with Green Bay in January after spending much of 2023 on the practice squad.
Leading receiver in opener
DuBose was targeted six times and caught five passes for 66 yards in Saturday's preseason opener against the Browns. DuBose had been something of an afterthought in Green Bay's deep receiver room, but he made a strong statement in the first game of the exhibition season, leading the Packers in all of targets, receptions and receiving yardage. It will be tough for DuBose to really make a mark if his counterparts stay healthy, but he is in the mix with Malik Heath and Samori Toure for the sixth spot on the depth chart.
