The third-year pro has recorded three straight 1,000-yard seasons to begin his career, becoming the first wideout to do so in franchise history, and there's little question of his value as a No. 2 read behind Tyreek Hill. Picking up Waddle's fifth-year option will keep him under contract with the Dolphins for two more seasons.

Waddle suffered a knee injury early in the contest, but he was able to quickly return to the field. That didn't lead to much production, however, as the Miami offense was held back offensively by a strong Kansas City defense. As a result, Waddle's streak of three games with at least 50 receiving yards came to an end.
Waddle led the Dolphins in receiving yards on the afternoon, with the exclamation point coming via a 31-yard scoring grab in the fourth quarter, his third score of the season. All of Waddle's end-zone trips this season have come within the last four contests, and Sunday's performance also qualified as his first 100-yard tally of the campaign. Waddle figures to be busy once again during the Dolphins' Week 9 showdown against the powerful Chiefs offense in Germany.
