The Jaguars cut Ezukanma from the practice squad Tuesday. Jacksonville swapped out Ezukamna with fellow WR Tim Jones on the practice squad. A fourth-round pick by the Dolphins in 2022, Ezeukanma has appeared in just five career regular-season contests, recording one catch for three yards on four targets.

Gets chance with Jacksonville

The Jaguars signed Ezukanma to their practice squad Thursday. Ezukanma was with Miami throughout training camp before being waived Tuesday. He'll now get an opportunity with the Jaguars, who have just five healthy wideouts on their 53-man roster. Ezukanma was a fourth-round selection by the Dolphins in the 2022 NFL Draft but caught just one pass on four targets over five career regular-season games with the club.

Waived by Miami

The Dolphins waived Ezukanma on Tuesday, NFL.com reports. Ezukanma, a 2022 second-round pick, totaled just five regular-season appearances during his three seasons with Miami, in large part due to injuries. In that span, he secured just one of four total targets for a three-yard gain, with that lone reception having come during his rookie season. He may get a chance to continue his development on the practice squad if he goes unclaimed on waivers.
