Jefferson (ankle) recorded two tackles (one solo) during Saturday's preseason win versus the Buccaneers. Jefferson had been sitting out of practice due to an ankle injury, but he's now evidently healthy enough for football activities again. He figures to play a rotational role on Jacksonville's defensive line in 2024.
Jefferson missed Wednesday's practice with an ankle issue, Mia O'Brien of 1010 XL 92.5 FM Jacksonville reports. The rookie defensive tackle out of LSU now seems to be dealing with an ankle issue that sidelined him from Wednesday's camp session. Once Jefferson returns to full health, he's expected to compete for a depth role on the Jaguars' defensive line.
