Jacksonville signed Bowman to a reserve/futures contract Tuesday, per the NFL's transaction log. Bowman spent the entire regular season on the Jaguars' practice squad, and he'll be sticking with them to start the new league year. Evan Engram (shoulder) and Brenton Strange figure to return as major contributors at tight end for Jacksonville in 2025.
The Jaguars signed Bowman to their practice squad Wednesday, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports. The Rutgers product signed with the Jaguars in April after going undrafted this past offseason. After failing to make the team's initial 53-man roster, he's been brought back to the practice squad. During Bowman's final collegiate season, he recorded just four catches for 24 yards.
Bowman was waived by the Jaguars on Tuesday. Bowman has been working to earn a spot on the Jaguars' final roster since signing with the team after not being selected in the 2024 Daft. The Rutgers product will now need to find another opportunity if he wishes to continue pursuing a career in the NFL.
