Williams posted three tackles in the Bears' 24-22 win over the Packers on Sunday. Williams backed up Gervon Dexter at defensive tackle and played 35 percent of the snaps in 2024. After playing minimal snaps during his first two seasons with the Colts, Williams ended the campaign with 23 stops and 3.0 sacks. He'll be a restricted free agent this offseason.
Williams was traded to the Bears from the Browns on Saturday, Larry Mayer of the team's official site reports. Chicago flipped a sixth-round pick to Cleveland for Williams and a seventh rounder, per Mayer. The defensive tackle will try to stick with the Bears through cutdown day Tuesday. Williams entered the league as an undrafted free agent with the Colts in 2020 and appeared in 13 games between 2021 and '22.
