The Bears waived Jackson on Tuesday, Courtney Cronin of ESPN.com reports. Jackson spent most of last season on Chicago's practice squad, and he's yet to appear in a regular-season NFL game. He played 12 offensive snaps in the Bears' preseason opener against Miami on Sunday, catching one of his four targets for seven yards. Jackson was also credited with a dropped pass.
