The Seahawks worked out Murray (groin) on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Seattle placed tight end Eric Saubert (calf) on its injured reserve list Saturday, so it makes some sense that the team is exploring potential depth options at that position. Murray is still waiting to make his regular-season NFL debut, and now that he's back in football shape, he's free to sign with any club.

Jordan Murray: Breaking News
Headed for free agency
Chicago waived Murray (groin) with an injury settlement Friday, per the NFL's transaction log. Murray was set to spend the entire 2025 season on the Bears' injured reserve list, but now he'll get to explore signing with other teams. He'll need to get healthy first though, and there's no concrete timetable for his return from his groin issue.
Reverts to IR
Murray (groin) reverted to the Bear's injured-reserve list Thursday, per the NFL's transaction log. Murray went unclaimed off waivers after he was waived with an injury designation by the Bears on Wednesday. As such, he'll be required to miss the entire 2025 season unless he reaches an injury settlement with Chicago. Murray had stints on the Cardinals' and Giants' practice squads in 2024 and has not played in a regular-season game since signing with the Texans as an undrafted free agent in May 2023.
