Toure signed with the Saints' active roster Friday, Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football reports. The 27-year-old's last in-game action came with the Packers in 2023, when he appeared in 11 contests and caught eight of 18 targets for 78 yards. Now in New Orleans, Toure is expected to operate as one of the Saints' top wideouts in the Week 18 matchup against the Falcons, playing alongside Kevin Austin, Dante Pettis and Ronnie Bell.
The Saints signed Toure to the practice squad Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Toure was most recently with the Broncos' practice squad last month after he spent the offseason with the Bears. Toure hasn't appeared in a regular-season game since 2023 with the Packers. He has a career 13-160-1 receiving line on 28 targets across 22 contests.
The Broncos cut Toure from the practice squad Tuesday, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports. Toure spent time with Chicago during the offseason then inked with Denver's practice squad early October, though he wasn't elevated for game action during his stint with the Broncos. He last logged regular-season action with Green Bay in 2023, when he suited up for 11 regular-season contests and secured eight of 18 targets for 78 yards.
