Daly (knee) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice. Daly suffered a knee injury in Week 6 against the Jaguars in London. Coming off a Week 7 bye, Daly was able to practice without restrictions Wednesday, and the Bears' long snapper should be good to go against the Commanders on Sunday.
Daly (knee) has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Jaguars, Kevin Fishbain of The Athletic reports. Daly operates as the team's long snapper, so his absence could negatively impact the Bears' punt and field-goal units. Cole Kmet will now handle those duties as the team's emergency long snapper, according to Fishbain.
The Lions re-signed Daly (knee) on Friday, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports. Daly missed the final nine games of the Lions' 2023 campaign due to a knee injury, but it now seems as if he's moved past the issue. The 30-year-old long snapper has appeared in 42 games over his three-year NFL career, all of those coming with Detroit.
