WWE Monday Night RAW Preview, Results & Highlights for June 22nd, 2015

After a shocking end to last week’s Monday Night RAW, this week’s RAW rolled through the Bankers Life Fieldhouse — the site where Seth Rollins first turned on Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns to join the Authority last year — and provided just as shocking of an ending.

Here is a recap of what happened on this week’s Monday Night RAW live from Indianapolis:

Brock Lesnar Was Officially Reinstated to WWE

Per terms of the agreement, Brock Lesnar had to go down to ringside and publicly apologize to Michael Cole and JBL for attacking them three months ago. Booker T is not on the commentary team for the next few weeks due to the filming of Tough Enough.

After Lesnar shook JBL’s hand and gave Cole a friendly headlock, he officially met the terms of the agreement with the Authority, which means his WWEWHC match with Rollins at Battleground in St. Louis is on.

Thanks to Seth Rollins Showing Up, Kane defeated Dean Ambrose

Ambrose attempted to go to the top rope to try and put Kane away, but Rollins tugged on Ambrose’s leg for the distraction. Kane then grabbed Ambrose by the neck and chokeslammed him off of the top rope for the 1-2-3.

Rollins came down to the ring to, presumably, get back on Kane’s good side. Rollins will need all of the Authority’s help at Battleground against Brock.

Bray Wyatt Interrupted Another Roman Reigns vs. Sheamus Match

Wyatt has been in the head of Roman Reigns for the last week. The target of Wyatt’s mind games? Roman Reigns’ daughter, who the WWE Universe saw on Smackdown when Wyatt eerily left a picture of him and her in the middle of the ring for Roman after Sheamus defeated him.

Reigns left the ring to go try and find Wyatt in the back, who had a tea party set up to entice Roman. Wyatt was talking as if he was talking to Reigns’ daughter, but was just talking to his “empty” [Sister Abigail] rocking chair swinging back and forth.

The Champ Was In the Building in Indianapolis

And the match is now official. Kevin Owens vs. John Cena III at Battleground for the United States Championship.

Other Results Tonight

The Primetime Players defeated The Ascension

Neville defeated Kofi Kingston

The Bella Twins continued their dominance with Alicia Fox at ring side by defeating Naomi and Tamina Snuka in a tag team match. Paige did not appear on RAW.

Ryback and Big Show got into a brawl backstage after Ryback’s victory over Mark Henry tonight. Ryback got the better of the Big Show, and taunted Show after the fight was complete. A triple threat match — including The Miz — was made for the Intercontinental Championship at Battleground.

Seth Rollins Gets the Band Back Together and Lays Out Brock Lesnar

It happened. Brock Lesnar is human. After Rollins made an effort to get Kane and J&J back all night, they finally gave him a definitive answer, yes.

The four men — which was actually three because Lesnar threw Jamie Noble into the barricade who was actually stretchered out of the arena during the segment — were able to get the better of Lesnar and leave him lying in the middle of the ring.

Rollins ended RAW by holding his WWEWHC above his head, proclaiming himself to be the champ and future.

In case you missed it, here is what happened on last week’s episode:

Brock Is Back!

The Authority did the unthinkable last week… They brought back the Beast Incarnate who gad been suspended since the night after Wrestlemania for going ape **** because he couldn’t get his hands on WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins.

Now? Thanks to Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, Brock Lesnar will have the opportunity to get his hands on Rollins at Battleground.

How will the WWEWHC respond and how will Paul Heyman make Rollins’ life a living hell until then? Can this be the beginning of the end for Rollins in the Authority?

Owens Challenges the Champ for HIS Championship

Kevin Owens made a statement directly to John Cena last week. Owens defeated Dolph Ziggler, and then powerbombed Machine Gun Kelly off of the stage (and was later helped to the back).

Owens has quickly made a name for himself in WWE despite still being NXT’s champion. KO has called out Cena and asked for a United States Championship match. Will Cena answer Owens’ challenge and grant him his wish?

Wyatt Calls Out Roman Reigns

Last week Bray Wyatt claimed that Roman Reigns stole his opportunity to be the “beacon of hope” for the WWE Universe — Reigns defeated Wyatt to earn his way into the Money in the Bank Ladder match that Bray eventually screwed him out of.

The mind games have continued between the two. Wyatt has continued to get into the head of Reigns by introducing pictures of Reigns and his daughter into his attacks.

Will Wyatt show up this week on RAW and how will Reigns continue to prepare for the new face of fear?
