Wilson caught five of seven targets for 55 yards in Sunday's 23-22 loss to the Vikings. The five grabs were the most for Wilson since Week 8, but the second-year wideout once again took a back seat to Trey McBride and Marvin Harrison in the Cardinals' passing attack. Wilson has seen at least four targets in three straight games, his longest such streak of the season, and his role could continue to grow in Week 14 against the Seahawks.
McBride caught all 12 of his targets for 96 yards in Sunday's 23-22 loss to the Vikings. The Cardinals' running game struggled early, forcing Kyler Murray to turn to McBride instead to stay ahead of the sticks. The third-year tight end tied his season high in receptions while leading Arizona in receiving yards, and over the last five games he's cemented himself as Murray's top read, racking up 40 catches on 47 targets for 459 yards. Despite the massive volume though, McBride is still looking for his first touchdown of 2024. He'll try to end his scoring drought in Week 14 against the Seahawks.
Harrison caught five of 12 targets for 60 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 23-22 loss to the Vikings. While the rookie wideout was far from efficient, Harrison was on the other end of Kyler Murray's only TD of the day, a 15-yard strike in the third quarter that gave the Cardinals a 19-6 lead. It was Harrison's seventh score in 12 games, which leads all rookie WRs and is fourth in the NFL behind Ja'Marr Chase, Amon-Ra St. Brown and Terry McLaurin. Harrison will look to get back in the end zone in Week 14 against the Seahawks, in a game that could have significant playoff implications in the NFC West.
Conner carried the ball 17 times for 68 yards and caught three of four targets for 13 yards in Sunday's 23-22 loss to the Vikings. While he wound up topping 80 scrimmage yards for the eighth time in 12 games this season, Conner had little success early against a tough Minnesota run defense, and his first gain of 10 or more yards didn't come until late in the third quarter. The veteran RB still went over 1,000 scrimmage yards for the season in Sunday's game, a mark he's reached in all four of his campaign with the Cardinals. Conner has topped 100 combined yards in four straight home games, a streak he'll look to continue in Week 14 against the Seahawks.
Murray completed 31 of 45 passes for 260 yards and a touchdown with two interceptions in Sunday's 23-22 loss to the Vikings. He added 48 rushing yards on seven carries. The 45 attempts were a season high for Murray, as James Conner struggled to produce much on the ground early and the Cardinals found more success with their short passing game. It was also the first time in 2024 that the QB tossed multiple picks, with both coming in the fourth quarter -- one with Arizona trying to protect a six-point lead, and the other on the team's final play after Minnesota took the lead with just 1:13 left on the clock. Murray has a poor 2:3 TD:INT over the last four games, and he may need to find more production in Week 14 against the Seahawks, a game that could have huge playoff implications in the NFC West.
Thompson (ankle) is active for Sunday's matchup with the Vikings, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports. The starting safety missed the Cardinals' last two games with the injury. Before that, he played in at least 85 percent of the defensive snaps in each of Arizona's first nine contests, recording 56 tackles (36 solo), two pass breakups and a fumble recovery.
Demercado (back) is listed as active Sunday at Minnesota, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports. Arizona capped Demercado's practice reps during the entirety of Week 13 prep due to a back injury, but the issue won't stop him from being available to the team's backfield Sunday. Nevertheless, with 32 touches in 11 appearances this season, he doesn't hold much sway with James Conner leading the Cardinals' rushing attack and rookie third-rounder Trey Benson taking 58 touches himself in 10 outings to date.
