Tejhaun Palmer: Everything you need to know

The Cardinals signed Palmer from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday ahead of Sunday's game against the Rams. Palmer has resided on the Cardinals' practice squad for the entirety of the 2025 season, but he will join the active roster for the Week 18 divisional contest. The wide receiver will likely function as a special-teams reserve player, as he is listed as the No. 5 option at receiver behind Michael Wilson, Xavier Weaver, Jalen Brooks and Steven Sims.

The Cardinals signed Palmer to the practice squad Thursday, Zach Gershman of the team's official site reports. The 2024 sixth-rounder was cut by the Cardinals on Tuesday after logging three catches (on eight targets) for 18 yards across three preseason games. Palmer will remain in Arizona on the team's practice squad, which is where he resided for his entire rookie season.

Palmer was waived by the Cardinals on Tuesday, Darren Urban of the team's official website reports. Palmer signed a reserve/future contract with Arizona in January, reeling in three catches for 18 yards over two preseason contests with the team. The wide receiver spent the 2024 season with the Cardinals' practice squad, and he may do the same in 2025.
