Murray (shoulder) was listed as a DNP on Wednesday's injury report. Murray registered a season-high 10 tackles (five solo), including 1.0 sacks, during the Titans' Week 11 loss to the Vikings, but it appears the 2020 first-round pick injured his shoulder in the process. Murray's practice participation Thursday and Friday will provide clarity on his status heading into Sunday's AFC South showdown against Houston. Murray is up to 69 tackles (40 solo), including 3.0 sacks, through 10 regular-season games.
McCreary (knee) didn't practice Wednesday. McCreary played through a knee injury during Tennessee's 23-13 loss to Minnesota this past Sunday, and he finished the game with four solo tackles across 52 snaps (41 on defense, 11 on special teams). As long as he's able to return to practice Thursday and/or Friday -- even in a limited capacity -- McCreary should be able to suit up for Sunday's AFC South clash against the Texans. The third-year corner has tallied 28 tackles (25 solo), including 1.0 sacks, and one pass defended across 10 regular-season games.
Joseph-Day (biceps) was a DNP for the Titans' first official practice of the week Wednesday. Joseph-Day logged one solo tackles across 35 snaps (31 on defense, four on special teams) during the Titans' 23-13 loss to the Vikings this past Sunday, but he may have injured his biceps in the process. The 2018 sixth-round pick will have two more chances this week to return to practice in at least a limited capacity, which would give him a chance to play against the Texans on Sunday. Through 10 regular-season games, Joseph-Day has logged 25 tackles (11 solo), including 2.5 sacks, and one pass defended.
Head coach Brian Callahan stated Wednesday that Sneed (quadriceps) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Texans, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports. Sneed was considered unlikely to play and was unable to practice Wednesday, so this news isn't necessarily surprising. Darrell Baker should draw another start for the Titans in Sunday's game in Houston.
Spears (concussion) wasn't spotted at practice Wednesday, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports. Spears' absence isn't surprising, with head coach Brian Callahan having noted prior to the session that the running back is working through the NFL's concussion protocol, per Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site. Spears now has two more chances to practice ahead of Sunday's game against the Texans, but if he's out this weekend, Julius Chestnut and Joshua Kelley would be in line to work behind top back Tony Pollard.
Sneed (quadriceps) was not spotted during practice Wednesday, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports. Sneed's absence isn't shocking since it was reported Monday that he was unlikely to play Sunday against Houston. He'll likely need to get on the field in some capacity Thursday or Friday to change that outlook and give himself a better chance of suiting up Week 12.
