Ali Gaye: Everything you need to know

Gaye was claimed off waivers by the Texans on Monday. The defensive end dressed for three regular-season games for Tennessee last year, playing on 37 defensive snaps and 21 special-teams snaps, making one tackle. Gaye has nine tackles (eight solo) across two NFL campaigns.

Gaye (knee) was activated off injured reserve Saturday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports. Gaye hasn't played since suffering a knee injury in the Titans' Week 8 matchup against the Colts. Despite missing Week 17, the 27-year-old has recorded back-to-back weeks of full practice. His injury designation has also been dropped, per Wyatt, so the second-year pro will likely play a depth role at linebacker in Sunday's regular-season finale against the Jaguars.

Gaye (knee) has been downgraded to out for Sunday's game against the Saints, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports. Gaye won't come off IR for Week 17, making Tennessee's regular-season finale against the Jaguars his last opportunity to suit up during the 2025 campaign. This will mark the eighth straight game that Gaye has missed due to his lingering knee injury.
