The Eagles placed Young (hamstring) on injured reserve Friday. Young was unable to practice all week due to a hamstring injury, which is severe enough for him to warrant a multi-game absence. He will be forced to miss at least the next four regular-season games, making Week 12 against the Rams on Sunday, Nov. 24 the earliest he can return. The 2023 third-round pick was claimed off waivers by Eagles in late August but has yet to appear in a regular-season game.

Placed on IR with hamstring injury
The Eagles placed Young (hamstring) on injured reserve Friday. Young was unable to practice all week due to a hamstring injury, which is severe enough for him to warrant a multi-game absence. He will be forced to miss at least the next four regular-season games, making Week 12 against the Rams on Sunday, Nov. 24 the earliest he can return. The 2023 third-round pick was claimed off waivers by Eagles in late August but has yet to appear in a regular-season game.
Out for Week 7
Young (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Giants. The 70th overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft by the Raiders, Young was cut by Las Vegas ahead of the season and has yet to appear in a game this season.
Claimed by Eagles
Young was claimed off waivers by the Eagles on Thursday. Young was waived by the Raiders on Wednesday after posting three total tackles (two solo), including a sack, with Las Vegas during preseason. Now with Philadelphia, the defensive lineman will compete with Jordan Davis for snaps at nose tackle in 2024.
