Danny Gray: Everything you need to know

The Eagles signed Gray to a reserve/future contract Monday. Gray joined the Eagles' practice squad in early November as additional depth at wide receiver. The 26-year-old was previously released by the team with an injury settlement prior to the start of the regular season. The third-year pro will participate in Philadelphia's offseason activities and attempt to earn a spot on its active roster next season.

The Eagles signed Gray to the practice squad Monday. Gray was let go by the Eagles with an injury settlement in early August due to a finger injury, but the 2022 third-rounder is now fully healthy and has reunited with Philadelphia as a member of the practice squad. Gray's only regular-season action in his NFL career came during his rookie campaign with the 49ers, when he registered one catch (on seven targets) for 10 yards and one carry for nine yards across 13 games.

Gray (finger) worked out for the Eagles on Monday, Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports. Gray spent the offseason with the Eagles but suffered a finger injury early on in training camp and was later let go with an injury settlement. Now healthy, Gray is looking for his next opportunity after spending the entirety of the 2024 campaign on Philly's practice squad.
