Trotter (lower leg) has been sprinkled in with the first team at times this week at the Eagles' training camp, Tim McManus of ESPN.com reports. Trotter appears to have left his lower leg injury behind as he's ramped up activity at training camp. The interior linebacker is likely slotted in as the team's fourth option at his position behind Devin White, Nakobe Dean and Zack Baun, but his first team reps are notable nonetheless.
Trotter was carted off during Thursday's practice with a lower leg injury, Martin Frank of The Delaware News Journal reports. The rookie linebacker out of Clemson is thought to have dodged a serious injury despite being carted off the field, as Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports that Trotter was just dealing with leg cramps. Trotter, a 2024 fifth-round pick, is expected to compete with Devin White and Oren Burks for the Eagles' second inside-linebacker spot alongside Nakobe Dean.
