Jessica McBride is a reporter covering sports for Heavy. Jessica was previously a police beat, government and breaking news reporter for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and the Waukesha Freeman  newspapers in Wisconsin. She has also written for Milwaukee Magazine and served as the co-editor of Media Milwaukee.

Education

Jessica graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a bachelor’s degree in print and broadcast journalism and a master’s degree in mass communication. Jessica has been a senior journalism instructor  at the University of Wisconsin-Milwauke, teaching print and online news reporting, social media and multimedia techniques since 2004.
