Justin Grasso is an NBA/NFL reporter for Heavy.com, specializing in trending league news, trade analysis, injury updates, and the ripple effects of the league’s top storylines. Since beginning his professional sports media career in 2016, Grasso has published thousands of articles across the NBA and NFL, developing a reputation for fast, accurate reporting paired with league-wide context and analytical follow-ups.
After transitioning to full-time NBA coverage in 2018, Grasso spent seven years managing the Philadelphia 76ers site for Sports Illustrated, where he covered the Joel Embiid–Ben Simmons era firsthand as a credentialed beat reporter.
