ALERT: Tonight’s game has been postponed due to heavy rain in Buenos Aires.

Argentina and Brazil, two of soccer’s most decorated nations, will meet for the first time in 2018 World Cup Qualifying tonight. Both teams have struggled in the first two matches of South American qualifiers, but both have been dealing with injuries and suspensions.

If the World Cup draw were today, Argentina would not be featured in the 32-team tournament. The side has one point in their first two matches, and sits seventh in the CONMEBOL table. To make matters worse, tonight they will be without much of their firepower. Sergio Aguero, Carlos Tevez, and Lionel Messi are all sidelined with injuries, forcing Argentina manager Gerardo Martino to shuffle his lineup.
