WGC Bridgestone Odds 2016: Best Bets & Sleeper Picks at Firestone

With the Open Championship quickly approaching, many of golf's top stars will get their final tuneup this week at the 2016 WGC (World Golf Championships) Bridgestone Invitational. While 40 of the world's Top 50 players will be in attendance to take on the monstrous 7,400 Par-70 at Firestone Country Club (South), several of the best European players--Rory McIlroy, Danny Willett, Chris Wood, Rafa Cabrera Bello--are opting to play the 100th Open de France instead. Nevertheless, there will be no shortage of star power in Akron, Ohio, as Jason Day, newly minted major champion Dustin Johnson and Jordan Spieth are among the studs who will attack the famous course. And while the presence of those stars combined with a small field that is only 60 players deep will make it tough to bet on a lot of underdogs, there are still plenty of intriguing sleepers and value bets (According to odds courtesy of Bet 365).
