In the early afternoon of August 17th, the beginning of the BMX cycling events in the Rio Olympics will get started, with runs to determine seeding for both the men's and women's events. These runs will be starting at approximately 12:30 pm EST, and can be live streamed easily here for anyone that has access to an NBC Sports account.
In the women's BMX events, one of the cyclists that will be competing is Brooke Crain, who will be representing the U.S. At just 23 years old, Crain has had an impressive BMX career since she was a teenager, and will be competing in her second ever Olympics after a somewhat infamous moment while competing in the 2012 Olympic games in London. She'll be looking for a redemptive moment in these games instead. One of two cyclists representing the U.S. in women's BMX, the run today is going to determine where she will be seeded in more major events. (Instagram/brookecrain32)
