Warner finished the 2024 season with 131 tackles (76 solo), 1.0 sack, two interceptions, four forced fumbles and a defensive touchdown across 17 starts for San Francisco. All-Pro Fred lived up to his nickname with another appearance on the first team of the All-Pro squad in 2024. The 28-year-old fell just six tackles shy of his previous career high while chipping in a variety of auxiliary stats for IDP managers. Warner finished as one of the few bright spots for an underperforming 49ers' defense. He will continue to lead this defense in 2025 as the club attempts to rediscover its identity after firing defensive coordinators in consecutive seasons.
Warner totaled 11 tackles (six solo) during the 49ers' loss to the Dolphins on Sunday. Warner had a productive outing despite the loss as he was the team's leading tackler once again and has now racked up double-digit stops in four games this season. The 28-year-old has recorded 117 tackles (68 solo) so far this season, just 20 shy of his career-high total set back in 2021, which he'll have the chance to surpass during the team's final two games of the season
Warner racked up 11 tackles (six solo) in Sunday's 29-17 loss to the Dolphins. Warner was on the field for every defensive snap en route to his second double-digit tackle total in as many games. The 28-year-old appears to be completely over the ankle injury he was playing through during a statistical slump from Weeks 11 to 14 (4.0 tackles per game). Warner should remain busy trying to track down Lions' star RB Jahmyr Gibbs on Monday Night Football in Week 17.
Warner finished with 15 tackles (eight solo) with a pass defended in Thursday's 12-6 loss to the Rams. Warner -- who has been playing through a fractured ankle -- looked like his usual self patrolling the middle of San Francisco's defense. The 15 combined tackles set a new high-water mark for the perennial All-Pro through 14 games in 2024. The dominant IDP performance also put Warner above 100 tackles for the seventh time in as many season as a pro.
Warner said Wednesday that he fractured a bone in his ankle in the 49ers' Week 4 win over the Patriots and has been playing through the injury ever since, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports. Despite Warner's acknowledgement of the fractured ankle, the All-Pro linebacker has been absent from the 49ers' injury report since Week 6. He's appeared in all 11 of San Francisco's games this season, recording 84 total tackles, six passes defensed, two interceptions and four forced fumbles. Warner is expected to continue playing through injury when the 49ers travel to Buffalo in Week 13.
Warner recorded nine tackles (six solo) during San Francisco's win over the Buccaneers on Sunday. Warner led the team in tackles once again and has now racked up 75 stops (46 solo), with 1.0 sack, and two interceptions across nine games this season. The 2018 third-round pick will look to build off his strong performance during the 49ers' Week 11 matchup versus the Seahawks.
Warner tallied eight tackles (four solo) and a pass deflection during San Francisco's win over the Cowboys on Sunday. Warner led the 49ers in total stops in what was another dominant performance for the All-Pro Linebacker. The 27-year-old's strong season continues as he's now racked up 66 tackles (40 solo), with 1.0 sack, in addition to snagging two interceptions and forcing a league-high four fumbles.
Warner tallied 11 tackles (six solo) along with a defensed pass and a forced fumble in Thursday's 36-24 Week 6 win over Seattle. Warner led San Francisco in stops in the victory and posted his second straight double-digit tackle total. The star linebacker also had one of his patented punched-ball forced fumbles in the fourth quarter, and though it was recovered by the Seahawks, the ball traveled several yards backward, turning a would-be first down into a third down. Warner has continued to be a strong IDP asset this year, totaling 50 tackles (30 solo), including 1.0 sacks, along with two interceptions (one of which he returned for a touchdown) and four forced fumbles through six games.
Warner (ankle) will play Thursday against the Seahawks. Warner was able to play through the injury in Week 5 and after logging a full practice Wednesday is set to do the same in Week 6. Having the veteran linebacker on the field will certainly be a boon for the 49ers' defense when they travel to Seattle for a divisional matchup.
